State government may temporarily shut down on July 1, 2015, unless a new state operating budget is enacted by then. Under a shutdown scenario, the Business Licensing System (BLS) will be shutdown and the BLS system will NOT be available to accept license applications and renewals.
Other impacts:
- Licensing fees and revenues will not be funded to partners
- Business licenses and renewals will not be mailed
- BLS staff will not be available
The BLS website will be available to provide licensing information and partners should be able to access their designated BLS subsystems.
