City of SeaTac is cleared for takeoff with BLS partnership

The bustling city hub that hosts the Pacific Northwest’s busiest airport today joins the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

SeaTactakes flight as the newest BLS partner to connect its local licensing program with state agency registrations and dozens of Washington communities.

Fostering a great business climate is key to SeaTac’s economic vitality. The Port of Seattle reports that the international airport in SeaTac is the nation’s 8th busiest. Its regional economic impact is $22.5 billion in business revenue annually with more than 150,000 jobs created as a result.

SeaTac businesses can now access the combined service to add licenses in neighboring Tukwila and Normandy Park. Nearby Federal Way will join this fall. The one-stop shop for state and local licensing is a service Revenue offers for free to all Washington cities.
