Home of Aplets and Cotlets, Cashmere joins BLS

The city of Cashmere in Chelan County is the 98th  BLS city partner. Cashmere is a city of 3000 along the Wenatchee River that is now connected to neighbors Leavenworth and East Wenatchee in the state’s combined licensing one-stop for agency and city registrations.

Home to more than 200 businesses, Cashmere's BLS partnership is a benefit to local shops that sell widgets and gadgets as well as a local candy maker that sells Aplets and Cotlets.

Liberty Orchards, founded as a local apple farm in 1918, has been making its signature fruit confections in Cashmere for more than 75 years.

Cashmere is famous for its abundant agriculture and opportunities for outdoor recreation with nearby locations for whitewater rafting and technical mountain climbing. The cities of Monroe -- also a BLS partner -- and Cashmere make up both ends of the Stevens Pass Scenic Byway on U.S. Route 2.

Welcome, Cashmere.
