Raymond: Bay city rolls with the tide of combined licensing

The city of Raymond is coupling with the state Business Licensing Service (BLS) to start off the summer. A southwest Washington city on Willapa Bay, Raymond joins a rising tide of regional cities to join the interconnected system that links license processes and streamlines service for business owners.

Registrations for liquor licenses, minor work permits, and gasoline pump meters are all now connected in the same portal that Raymond businesses owners use to report state taxes.

More than two dozen southwest Washington communities are already BLS city partners with many Grays Harbor communities joining in 2021.
