The historic city of Granger  "where the dinosaurs roam"  is at the dawn of a new era today as the newest member of the state Business Licensing Service.

In addition to more than 140 bustling businesses, the city of Granger southeast of Yakima is home to more than 30 dinosaur statues that add character to the community founded 110 years ago.

More than 3200 residents live in Granger, many of whom work in the state's important agricultural industries for tree fruit, nuts, grapes and hops. Yakima County is the world's leading county for hops production.

These Brontosaurus statues in Granger
reside in Hisey Park near the Yakima River.
