BLS Partner December 2019 Update

Revenue Call Center phones off midday Wednesday

Revenue’s Call Center phones will go straight to voicemail from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, while staff members attend an off-site workshop.

Customer service will be available on-site at the Tumwater office and other locations during this time. Also, business customers can send email to BLS@dor.wa.gov.

BLS Partnership Services staff will be in the same workshop.

State Treasurer local funding schedule is posted

The Office of State Treasurer has its 2020 schedule for funds distributed to local governments is now available. Access the spreadsheet at bit.ly/LocalDeposit2020 to see distribution dates and deposit dates for the coming year.

33 cities join BLS in 2019

The final BLS local partnership of 2019 is set for launch on December 12.

Camas is the 33rd city to add the service in 2019.

In 1997, BLS started work supporting local licensing in two cities. Today, it has grown to work for 115 cities all across the Evergreen State – serving about half of all cities that issue a local business license. By 2021, more than 150 cities will be BLS partners.
