Both communities are streamlining licensing by
linking to the state’s one-stop service for business that partners with more
than 130 Washington cities and towns.
Grand Coulee, founded in 1935, is at the
intersection of two state highways and a gateway to fishing, boating, and other
outdoor recreation. It starts BLS partnership today.
The town of Coulee Dam, founded in 1933, is the
only community in Washington that lies within three counties – Douglas, Grant,
and Okanogan. It is home to the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area
headquarters operated by the National Park Service. It starts BLS partnership later this month.
BLS supports about 600 different types of regulatory licenses with its free service to benefit
public agencies and local governments. A list of partner cities is listed on the city
