Grand Coulee gets area businesses in the flow of BLS

The neighboring communities of Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam are starting to power up local commerce in July with the benefits of the Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Both communities are streamlining licensing by linking to the state’s one-stop service for business that partners with more than 130 Washington cities and towns.

Grand Coulee, founded in 1935, is at the intersection of two state highways and a gateway to fishing, boating, and other outdoor recreation. It starts BLS partnership today.

The town of Coulee Dam, founded in 1933, is the only community in Washington that lies within three counties – Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan. It is home to the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area headquarters operated by the National Park Service. It starts BLS partnership later this month.

BLS supports about 600 different types of regulatory licenses with its free service to benefit public agencies and local governments. A list of partner cities is listed on the city license endorsements page of https://dor.wa.gov.
