Just five miles south of the Canadian Border, Lynden was settled in the late 1800s by many Dutch families and those of Dutch descent. It retains its unique character with Dutch-inspired architecture prominent throughout the community.
With nearly 15,000 residents, Lynden is now linked to its neighbors including Bellingham, Blaine, and Ferndale as it adds the streamlined service for state and local licensing. Famous for its annual Raspberry Festival, Lynden supports hundreds of businesses that will now save time with BLS's simple annual license renewal process.
