Omak stampedes its way to BLS partnership

The city of Omak is joining the stampede of cities to join the  Business Licensing Service (BLS).

With more than 700 businesses working in Omak, local commerce may get a boost as licensing is simplified. BLS is the combined state and local licensing solution offered as a free service for all participating Washington cities.

Omak is riding high in the saddle today with a posse of fellow BLS partners including nearby Bridgeport and Republic. BLS now serves 142 Washington cities.

Home to about 5,000 residents, the city plays host to the famous Omak Stampede. Each summer, hundreds of visitors enjoy the western entertainment event founded in 1933.
The city of Omak has a population of 5,000 in Okanogan County.
