Relief from penalties extended
The state Business Licensing Service (BLS) is still waiving late filing penalties under the extension of the governor's Proclamation 20-20 through December 7, 2020. The Department of Revenue maintains updated business relief information at dor.wa.gov/taxrelief.

More local partners added this fall
Eight more local partners will join the business licensing partnership in the next two months. The cities listed below will bring the number of BLS partners to more than150. About 60 more cities are slated to streamline local licensing with Revenue's free service partnership over the next two years.
