Relief from BLS penalties extended until end of emergency

The state Legislature has approved relief from late filing penalties for business licensing until the end of the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Lawmakers approved a resolution to extend the governor's Proclamation 20-20 to help Washington residents recover from effects of the pandemic.

The Department of Revenue maintains updated business relief information at dor.wa.gov/taxrelief. The state Business Licensing Service will also update related information for city and agency partners at BLSPartnerPost.com.
