BLS Partner Post - February 2022 Update

The Rainbow Bridge frames new BLS partner La Conner.
200th local partner joins BLS partnership this spring

In February, Benton City, Sumas and La Conner joined BLS. In March, the Island County communities of Langley and Oak Harbor will connect hundreds of businesses on Whidbey Island, Washington’s largest island.
In North Central Washington, the town of Twisp will hop aboard to join neighbor Winthrop in simplifying business licensing across the beautiful Methow Valley.
Finally, in Whatcom County, the city of Nooksack marks two major milestones in BLS history. Nooksack, named for the river that flows from Mount Baker to Bellingham Bay will be the final Northwest Washington city to join BLS. Nooksack is also the 200th local partner to link up with the state’s premier one-stop licensing solution that has earned national recognition and praise from state business groups.

City limits indicator easy to find on CEI report

The In City Limits indicator is now easier than ever to find for staff reviewing local license accounts.

BLS has updated the City Endorsement Information (CEI) report and placed the “In City Limits: Yes” field adjacent to the business’s location address.

Instead of using the ATLAS Reports manager to get the report, users can now click “View CEI report” on the right side of the Activity screen.
